Not a lot of transfer action has happened over January. I think Newcastle have spend the most money this window bringing in 4 or 5 French players. Would expect QPR to do some business before Thursday, Think Harry has a made a great signing in Lorik Remy he could help QPR stay up. Still think they need to sign a couple of Defenders Nelsen and Hill aren't Premiership standard.
Will there be a mad rush on Thursday? I hope so!

Nelson is leaving anyway to take the manager's job at Toronto so they need to replace him regardless

TBH, deadline day is shit, overhyped nonsense that forces clubs into spending daft amounts on shit players that they then regret in the summer. Can we start a post on half-and-half scarfs now?

You just seemed a little, eh, tetchy, over the transfer window deadline day. Overly so, some might say.

It's crap though - it's not/shouldn't be an event in the season, yet it gets more coverage than the fa cup final, playoffs, relegation, uefa cup, league cup, etc put together nearly. It's the first fucking thing mentioned on sky sports every time. even when its closed its still mentioned. another depressing part of nu-football. I'm also abit miffed at the fact im gonna be 80-odd quid poorer in the next week due to the fa cup draw and the champions league. EDIT: Remember the feeling when you found out Cantona/Keane signed for us? The fact that transfer news wasnt a 24-hour tv show then?

I reckon we should bid 25 million for Fabregas and have him sign at 11.59 on Thursday night. Ur man Jim Whyte from Sky Sports would be creaming himself outside OT.

Could you imagine Piers if we did that, hed have a mental breakdown, hes teetering on that just over the RVP signing. Might as well take the laces out of his shoes ready for him and wish him the best.

I'd rather raid arsenal again and bring in Wilshere and Oxo-Cube than anderson's toilet
