Instead of ole hiring a world class coach, now stick with me this is just an idea, as stupid as this sounds why doesn't the club hire a world class manager? Ole won’t rock the boat when Woodward fails to get him the players he needs. a world class manager would And as soon as they did, they would be out of the door.

I doubt even LVG’s wife would have described him as ‘world class’ by the time we appointed him. And just because Jose didn’t work out, it’s not a good enough reason to shy away from elite level managers. Now what your definition is of those can vary but let’s be honest here, Ole wasn’t and sadly isn’t one.

Maguire and AWB have both been less impressive at United than in their previous clubs, especially Maguire, who, for me, has been a poor transfer all things considered. Ole should hire a world-class coach to work with our defenders because it’s looking dire and clearly whoever is coaching them at the moment isn’t doing a good enough job. I think AWB has had some brilliant games for us. Hard to say he’s not been as impressive as at Palace. He’s still young and really only had one breakthrough season at Palace. We were very much buying potential in him. Maguire has been shit though.

2 of those defenders are his transfers. Weakest link in our back four is Lindelof (I know Bestie wont agree !), whose transfer was that ? Also its not as if Maguire and Wan Bissaka has been unmitigated disaster , our defense is a work in progress. Get in some competition for AWB at RB and a CB to start with Maguire and we are going to look much better. Facts don't agree. He has been an unmitigated disaster. 80 million and a lesser deserving captain than Rooney, which is a low, low, bar. Maguire and AWB have both been less impressive at United than in their previous clubs, especially Maguire, who, for me, has been a poor transfer all things considered. Maguire never looked that good before we signed him.

Now what your definition is of those can vary but let’s be honest here, Ole wasn’t and sadly isn’t one. My point being LVG and Jose were considered great tacticians who won everything in club football , they came here spend loads of money and it didnt work out. Yes they won trophies , fair enough (edit: lets be honest we never had a chance in CL or PL) , but the football was boring for most part and their combined shit transfers are the reason why even after so many years we are talking about rebuild. So i just dont see why we should fire Ole at this point when things are finally beginning to fall in place. You can look at this squad and tell clearly where we need to improve - get a CB and a RB and we will be competing for the title this season itself And lets not forget , liverpool also went through a similar phase , everyone who watched them knew they will be serious contenders with a decent GK and CB , they did exactly that and started winning trophies.

Didn’t they win trophies here? Yes but at what cost ? How many of Jose's transfers are going to be integral part of this United team for next few years , may be scott and fred (a reminder - fred looked shit under Jose and was considered another flop until he revived his career under Ole) We cant keep spending 250 million every window

Liverpool also had Klopp, one of the best managers in the world. If you have a manager you’re unsure of, IMO you can do 3 things, 1 of which isn’t recommended for a serious club. 1. Hope he improves and learns on the job. 2. Replace him for a better one. 3. Give him enough talent that his ability isn’t really an issue, ie Luis Enrique At Barca. Option 1 is by far the least attractive on the list. Inevitably it’s the one Woodward has chosen.

We have never spent that much in a single window I meant a big sum every window , not literally 250 million. Next time you want to make a point, don't use hyperbole. Also, what is this imaginary big sum you speak of? Have a look back and tell me what was the most we spent in a window and how much it was. I'll wait.

Have a look back and tell me what was the most we spent in a window and how much it was. I'll wait. Just went through transfer market and here are the figures we spent : LVG 14/15 --> £ 175.82 m 15/16 --> £ 140.4 m Jose 16/17 --> £ 166.50 m 17/18 --> £ 178.56 m 18/19 --> £ 74.43 m Ok its not 250 million , but still a lot of money for Europa league , FA cup and a league cup with shit football , and the worst part is we were left with a bloated squad filled with deadwood and players who doesnt even want to be at the club - which was my original point to Karma
