Trophy and a genuine in with a shout in April title challenge. That's his bare minimum. Time for excuses has gone, even without a DM. Should be smashing most sides off the park with the quality we have at our disposal.

Genuine title challenge , good run in CL (semi may be) and at least one domestic trophy is needed.
Ole has to deliver at least that much this season.

With the summer additions I think the bare minimum for this season has to be. Top 3 and in the title race at the 30 game mark. CL Quarters A domestic final. I’m not saying I’d be content with that but anything less and ole has to be replaced. Absolute minimum is silverware. Or at least it should be.

If we don't win a trophy this season I think he will get sacked, especially with the players that have come in, especially Ronaldo, the only way he probably keeps it is if, we miss out by like a point or two in the league and a champs league final, really we should have been going all out for Zidane

He couldn’t potentially be Solskjaer’s downfall after all the nine lives he’s had.

I think Ronaldo does have the power to get Ole sacked next summer if we don't win anything. Glazers once chose Pogba over Jose, so I can easily see them choosing Ronaldo over Ole. They very much need Ronaldo's goodwill if they expect him to whore himself so they can milk his commercial appeal for all it is worth.
The consortium of players, ex-players and SAF who moved heaven and earth to get Ronaldo to re-sign for us rather than City are going to look very silly if we don't win anything. So they'd also probably be happy to blame Ole when Ronaldo's returns fails to result in us winning trophies again.

Koeman has been told he must win La Liga if he wants to stay beyond next summer at Barcelona.
This is despite him: -Losing Messi and Griezmann -Only being allowed to bring in a few free transfers that include one of our rejects and City's finished goods -Having to generate a net income of £60m over the pandemic as Barcelona struggle to balance the books
Barcelona are a complete financial mess. But they haven't forgotten who they are.

Sun and the Mail are claiming that Ole has told the squad they are better than the 1999 treble winners and favourites for the title.
Probably BS. But it does illustrate how the media coverage has changed now we've signed Ronaldo. They are going to come down hard on us if we don't win anything this season (as rightly they should).

Putting aside subjective opinions about Ole and his ability as a manager, this season must end with a trophy and a serious title challenge. Anything else will be a failure and should result in a change of manager.

Anything else will be a failure and should result in a change of manager. Yeah good luck with that. Last 3 seasons indicate anything but. Looking at how the commercial side has been turned on its head in 2 weeks, the leeches won't care one jot about anything else. He will finish top 4 and that will suffice.

“Solskjær told him that they would play in another system [last season]. In the first 5 games it already went wrong & at the end of the season we had to come to the conclusion that he barely played.” #mufc [@ziggosport, @theeuropeanlad]
