Sorry Paul, I usually love your work. I know it might not seem like it because I'm always suggesting improvements, but I see the wallpapers you've done and it's because I like them so much that I suggest little modifications to make it, in my eyes at least, as perfect as possible. My suggestions aren't always good (see corkboard) but it's the fact that they're so good that I'm 'inspired' to come up with little ideas (though not actually inspired enough to do any of the legwork). With that said, I'm not a fan of this one. If you look back at pretty much all of my feedback, I'm fairly consistent in that I like simplicity and (this is the wrong word) a more classy look. This one has too cartoony a font and too much clutter for my personal taste. I don't mean to sound overly critical because I'm being genuine when I say that I really do like the work you produce. I appreciate the time and effort that goes into it too. I just hope you appreciate the time and effort I put in to slagging it all off  |

Nah to be fair mate I appreciate all feedback providing its not just negative for the sake of it, yours is constructive and I agree that not everyone will like all of it because you cant please everyone so I do appreciate the comments, as I've said before nothing is ever perfect so there are always way of improving something. Which I like doing myself. |

Barring the font thing (I agree with Dan, it's too cartoon-y. Also the tartan, whilst brilliant, is a slight difficultto read on the black background. Same tablecloth, but lighter maybe?) I think it's pretty boss. I actually like the Leagues around the badge and the corners. Also think the font for the League winning years is no problem, just the banner line is iffy. Giggsy's head looks HAY-UGE though compared to Scholesy, Master Wayne and van Perfect.

If you are going to do further work on this one, I would suggest maybe condensing the 00s in the 2000-2009 years. Because the 00s are so wide the years are a lot bigger than the 19xxs.

I like Robin van Persie, reckon he's a brilliant player. I even liked him once he'd started to mature at Arsenal. I still think he's a brilliant player even though we got knocked out of Europe and he didn't play very well in either leg. It seems appropriate to give him a nickname. Speaking of Madrid, how did "Big Game Wayne" get on in the second leg, particularly in the first half? EDIT: If you really wish to criticise my giving a United player a complimentary nickname, don't do it in Paul's WP thread. Stay on topic people!! |

cool your jets big guy. i love van Persie, brilliant player, but he's not perfect, and i'm surprised more isn't being made of his miss in the first leg. i'm worried about tempting fate and these type of misses with nicknames like van perfect. then again that's really just some superstitious crap, so *slaps self* and lets it go.
