I think many fans are just so fed up with so much deadwood at the club being kept for so long there is a certain amount of apathy with players who have done little for a long time.
Although not his fault I will always associate him with that summer we sold Ronaldo and downgraded on transfers only 12 months after winning the CL.
There’s nothing worse though than seeing a player who is clearly done struggle. He’s not alone , plenty have been there.
I just hope he’s not the only one moving on in the summer who should be on borrowed time.

United opt against offering Antonio Valencia a new deal. Been a good servant for the club especially being shipped to the RB position where I think he did well all things considered Does amuse me though that he doesn't get a new deal yet Young, Jones and Smalling do.  |

Thanks be to God!! I didn’t rate him, but I know a lot of others did. His recent performances suggested his time was up and I’m glad the club have let him go. |

He’s clearly done though. You can argue about the shortcomings of the other 2 but they aren’t. If he gets another season elsewhere I would be amazed if he gets 10 full games. Time waits for no-one. |
