United opt against offering Antonio Valencia a new deal. Been a good servant for the club especially being shipped to the RB position where I think he did well all things considered Does amuse me though that he doesn't get a new deal yet Young, Jones and Smalling do. He’s clearly done though. You can argue about the shortcomings of the other 2 but they aren’t. If he gets another season elsewhere I would be amazed if he gets 10 full games. Time waits for no-one. He does seem to be getting injured at a much higher rate. You could be right

Wont disagree that his time has come. Good luck to the guy wherever he goes, hopefully he'll get a bit of fitness back and get one more season or so under his belt.
Either way he's been great for us and deserves nothing but admiration for how he's conducted himself. Shame to see him leave but his time has come.

Been a great servant for Utd and I’m delighted he’ll get a testimonial, he deserves it. He always had real fight in him, particularly in the big games. He seemed to show in matches against the Rents and Scouse. I loved how Ashley Cole would bully wingers but tried it against Valencia once and got rinsed. Never tried it again.
Well done Tony. It’s the right time but still sad to see you go.

Just hope he doesn't go to Westham. Even an unfit Valencia deserves better than that.

Just hope he doesn't go to Westham. Even an unfit Valencia deserves better than that. Well he has been linked to them.

Big fan of Valencia. Always have been. He's an absolute warrior but it feels like the right time now.

Very good servant and the right time to move on. Hopefully he can get fully fit again and have a while longer at a decent level.

Been a good player for us. But the ravages of time have caught up to him. No shame in that. Hopefully gets fit so he can get an OT farewell.

Valencia has received Equador's 2nd highest civilian honour, for his time at MUFC. Not many football clubs would get you that. He got the prestigious National Order of Merit medal in recognition of his decade playing for MUFC. Presented to him by Ecuador President Lenin Moreno
Tony V said this in response
"I've ended a wonderful period in Manchester, but now there's a difficult match ahead and I hope to play well, which is being a good father, and this is a commitment to my country's children and youth,"
"Mr President, I hope God rewards you for this acknowledgement."
