Football's dead and buried to me if they get off lightly. A fine is nonsense given their wealth.
They need to be banned from Europe long term and relegated. I'd go as far as to say banned from promotion back to the Premier League for a set number of years too, else they'll just do a Rangers, win the leagues and be back in the Prem before you know it.
This needs to be hard ball. If not, just give them every trophy for the forseeable and everyone else just give up.

Also, a points deduction isn’t nearly enough. They seem to have found a cosy little ally in Newcastle who I’m sure are watching with interest because if City say get a 20 point deduction, the Geordies might think it’s worth it. Yes you lose out on this season but if you basically spend whatever on a new team you want then you’ll reap a massive reward down the line.
And worth remembering they are back City’s preposterous case against the sponsorship restrictions.

You just know they will get away lightly, they'll have 50 lawyers looking for every little loophole to tie it up in red tape and keep kicking the can down the road until the Premier league wilt, not to mention the Governments relationship with the UAE so there may be some political pressure too.
