Really pleased for Wigan, regardless of the opposition (though it does make it that much sweeter). And really pleased for Dave Whelan - a great underdog story.
And just as good as them winning it was that they deserved it . By no means was this a jammy win, they carved out a good number of chances and restricted City.
It's a shame Fergie cynically decided to retire this week to take attention away from City's FA Cup final (that's what they'd have us believe, right)

Martinez later retracted his comments about supporting Benitez. He said he was misquoted. And I think Sir Alex likes him. Wouldn't have sent him Cleverley and Henriquez if he didn't.
