Good, shitty club back where they belong.
Playing pretty football doesn't make you a good manager. Bruce had Wigan a comfortable mid table team, he's got them in constant relegation fights and finally relegated.
One is raved about, the other isn't.
Sure it's got nothing to do with one being a swarthy Spaniard named Martinez, whilst one's a broken nosed English brute called Steve.

Cracking finish in the 5th min to put Yeovil 1 up in the League 1 playoff

Have to laugh at Spurs. Bale scores (as usual this season) near the end to drag them over the line and it still isn't enough.
I remember sitting in Nando's in March with a Spurs supporting mate of mine telling him they wouldn't get top 4. They need a top class striker. Defoe is good, but they need another one. And a better central midfield. Dembele can't do it on his own and Parker is way over-hyped. Had a good relegation season with West Ham and was decent in his first at Tottenham but he's a plodder really. Outside top 4 is his level.

Typical Spurs really, work themselves into a nice position (weren't they a reasonable comfortable 3rd for a while?) only to then contrive to fuck it up.

I must say that I've not found it within me to care about anything not directly related to United for large patches of this season, which is usually unlike me. So let me get this straight, Spurs were brilliant for a large portion of the season but bottled it at the end only to finish 5th? I might've seen that one somewhere before....

I believe so, or at least I certainly remember Arsenal being written off for a top 4 finish at one point a few months back. Arsene always seems to pull it out the bag though. Last year Spurs could feel hard done by, but not this year.

Shocking, right?

And arsenal fans celebrating like they actually won something!
No wonder all their best players have left.
And they think they are gonna sign Higuain, Jovetic, etc??

If Spurs keep Bale and buy a player like Benteke they'll be ok.

Nice touch what they did with Newcastle and Steve Harper and the 37th min, he was in bits. @piersmorgan Good to see Arsenal fans act like they have won something, Shame in reality they haven't won for 8 years eh #Tears4Piers
