The day United were officially League Champions for the first time in 26 years.

The table that season was odd compared to nowadays - Villa were runners up, with norwich 3rd! Qpr finished 5th, the scum were 6th, spurs 8th, citeh 9th, arsenal 10th, chelsea 11th.
