You know waht the deal was with the Thiago thing from the Super-Friends thread... It's possible, but it looks like Villa and Thiago were the victims of the Neymar signing, and the kid Everton have juist loaned. I'd guess Tello could be another. I think the Fabreags one is a no-goer, but we wouldn't bid if we hadn't been given encouragement from somewhere/someone. Or it's yet another chapter from the Glazernomics playbook - "well we did try and get Thiago, Fabregas, etc, but it wasn't to be. But don't fear, we have bought in a new midfielder. Ivan: "Don't worry Arsène, we won't. £35m and then we stop"
Arsène: "OK"

We were all sucked in by the Thiago fiasco and got shagged in the arse. This transfer makes even less sense and we are all getting sucked back into to another disappointing saga. No chance this will happen.
