Very odd that Gomes and his people don't have another club lined up. They would have known for over 6 months now that he wasn't going to sign the contract, so were free to negotiate with clubs abroad in all that time. Must have thought United would give him whatever he wanted
Possibly. The club did improve the original contract offer, but even then you would have thought they would have spoken to other teams to see what was being offered? Might finally make some realise how much BS the press put out to fill space. Especially given they reckoned Barca, Chelsea, PSG, etc etc were all supposedly interested in talks with him.

I think he never actually wanted to leave. Which if true is a shame for both sides. Wonder if there is any possibility of resigning him if he doesn't have a club lined up.

Bit odd if he didn't though. He was offered the same guarantees as Chong, with a slightly better wage. Which was more than fair. There is always a chance he can come back if he wants to. Be interesting to see who comes in for him

A quiet afternoon in front of the tv led me to channel surf and land on a show called “Homes Under the Hammer” with a surprise co-host, Dion Dublin. What are his credentials, is he a property developer like Fowler or something?

I learned this the other day - Fellaini has become a world-beater in China. It's perfect for him. He's freakishly huge over there and does have some technical ability. Over-powers and out-jumps everyone and occasionally shows a bit of genuine skill.
