Well there goes that theory. Would he have bothered clarifying it if he was indeed angling for a move? The plot thickens..

Well, he says there's a lot of rubbish being written, but then only clarifies the Twitter thing. Surely if you're going to make a statement, you're better off clarifying the main piece of news circulating about you, not some conspiracy theory spin off.

Sunday should tell us a lot about what's happening on this front.

Maybe.....maybe he's been asked not to talk about his position at United with regards to future, contracts or anything else?!

Rooney moaned and threatened to leave a few years back saying that the quality of players at the club where not good enough, and as fans and a club we forgave and forgot. We got in quality player/s now he's unhappy at playing out of position and not being the main man to accommodate the quality players he claims he wanted to keep united competitive and I suppose a £250k a week contract helps.
And don't forget the original transfer request came at a time when allegations where made about his private life so if I was colleen I'd be checking the credit card receipts or the joint account just in case !!!
We the fans -are losing the greatest manager ever. the man who gave him a chance to play and win at the highest level not once but every season,so asking to go is a good hard kick in the nuts for SAF and every united fan at a time when we need positives as we move in to a new era with a new manager and a element of the unknown for everyone.
So Wayne do us all a favour and just fuck off .

I hope Moyes doesn't try to persuade him to stay. I think the best thing for the club to do is get the money and spend it on someone who is going to justify their wages.

Seems more like the Clubs don;t mind selling him to free up wages and balance the books. Don't mind as long as we get an able replacement

My gut feeling is that Moyes will probably persuade Rooney to stay put. If Rooney starts pissing about during the new season, then he might be out the door this time next year. Speculating obviously.

Why would we want to beg that ungrateful bastard to stay any longer? Just so he can live on over-inflated wages he doesn't deserve? Or to get a transfer request from him for the third time? I think we're not desparate to keep him here (we have Kags for his position). Actually I will be glad when he's gone, would have been in 2010 too when he showed how much he cares about United....

Have been tired of the rooney show for a while,he is just not as consistant anymore and gets superstar money.Wont mind to see him go as long as they bring in a star to replace him.

Having worked with Rooney before, and not having had the pleasure of managing too many top, top players, I think Moyes will be looking forward to managing him again. For that reason I think he'll stay.
If he does I go, I would probably put it down to either A) us already having made our mind to sell him. or B) him finally feeling his relationship with the club has broken down and angling for a move.
If it's 100% up to Moyes, I think he'll stay.
That's my theory anyhoo

Imagine what a complete fuck up Rooney would be if he had spent the last 10 years under another manager. (Moyes excluded)
He would probably be having 3 ways with 2 grannys whilst sticking his hand up gazzas arse - and downing bottles of vodka through his ear.
