Rooney has apparently handed in his 2nd transfer request in 3 years.
I hope most people feel like me, he left in 2010 when he acted like a disrespectful fool. Ferguson I hope would have got rid this summer anyway.
This is a major summer in our history, our biggest in for some time and I fully expect it to involve Rooney departing.

If true lets just get rid, he's not as good as he thinks he is (though he is very good) and there are players just as good out there who we could get.
Plus, am I the only one that really likes such a wonderful ambassador and all time legend like Sir Bobby holding our goalscoring record, and wouldn't like to see it be taken by Rooney?

Daniel Taylor, who is pretty reputable has confirmed that 2 weeks ago he went to see ferguson to hand in a transfer request which was rejected. His time is up.

Until its confirmed ill reserve my opinion as it wont be pleasant if I reveal it now. 1st time it can be forgiven, never for a 2nd time. The media are just having a field day by making the abu's want to think were dying.
We'll never die so fuck up.

Wayne Rooney not for sale, say Manchester United By Ben Smith BBC Sport
Manchester United insist Wayne Rooney is not for sale after it emerged the striker asked to leave Old Trafford for the second time in three years.
The 27-year-old ex-Everton forward told United boss Sir Alex Ferguson two weeks ago he felt the time was right to move after nine years at the club.
A spokesman for United would only say: "Wayne Rooney is not for sale."
The news emerged on the day Ferguson announced he would be retiring as manager at the end of the season.
Rooney has two more seasons left on a five-year contract he eventually signed after much wrangling in 2010.

If your not going to be motivated by the Greatest Manager in history to fulfill your potential and be apart of history, im afraid football doesnt have much more to offer for you.

Don't believe a word of it!

Didn't Shitty say Ballotelli absolutely was not for sale?
And AC stated they were in no way interested in signing him anyway?
All the clubs do it. If you're happy to sell someone, unless you really just want them out the club quicksmart, you're gonna give it the whole "He's going nowhere" act to try and make sure you get top dollar.
If United say "Yeah, Rooney is available for transfer. This will be his last season" then the bids are going to start low and not rise too high, and why should they, we're confirming we want rid.
Just remembered, didn't Fergie also talk about how great and important Veron was and he had such a big future at United, about a week before selling him to Chelsea?
