He never did fulfil his potential.
I dont know whether that is a fault of the club or of the boy himself. He really should have been up there competing for world player titles.
Flashes of brilliance, maybe 2 great seasons he had - maybe he would recover but he has yet again stuck a knife in. I doubt we could command more than 20 Million for him/

Rooney's problem is that every time someone else developed further and nailed down a striking position, he'd be moved to accommodate that player.
Benji, I'd be amazed if we sold him for less than 30 mil, for some reason people still rate him extremely highly.

Might not mean anything but #Rooney changed his Twitter bio from Manchester United player to NikeUK Athlete. #MUFC Cutting ties already it would seem! This happened months ago by all accounts.

If there is any truth to this then to hell with him. Buy Lewa, play Kagawa more. Sorted.

well her is my 2 pence. he is mentally lazy, when he meets opposition we get all this he is leaving nonsense, he is supposedely world class he needs to roll up his sleeves and get on with it, be a leader on and off the pitch, usher in a new manager and show what he is about. chelsea are said to be getting him, if thats the case 40 million please and they can pay him £250k a week, and we can get a proper world class player in ronaldo, guaranteed goals each week. i want rooney to stay but the stories are getting irritating whether he has anything to do with it or not.

BBC now reporting that Rooney is seeking assurances over his future with David Moyes coming in and could well further his stay at the club.

If we get ronaldo I will change my name to cunts mc gee and call my first born cuntella.
Its not happening.
Maybe more likely we get lewandowski, the rumours of him coming here accelerated about 2 weeks ago....which seems to be around the same time as Rooney decided to make a cunt of himself again infront of the great man.

Rooney Is passed it anyway. Far too many off field distractions means he will never be the player he could have become. Falcao please.

He's on 250 g a week! Given how he played this season he has some neck looking for a raise.
Or are we trying to get him to take a pay cut?

If he's to stay on then it needs to be made clear in no uncertain terms that no rise will be given and if he wants one he needs to prove his worth under new management.
