I have actually stood up for him after the first fiasco and said that he had doone just about enough to earn some forgiveness , but this , second time around, Nah - Nah.
And it also looks like he can be off to chelsea - well You can just Fuck Right off - if this is true.

I'm not going to bash him too much until something is official. He's stuck around when all other great players moved on, Van Nistlerooy, Ronaldo, Tevez. Yes he asked for a transfer last time and to be honest, hasn't really shown his worth in those 3 years since but until his agent puts out another statement for him I'll wait to see what happens.

Wayne Rooney's problem last time was that the club weren't bringing in enough top players to remain at the top level (despite reaching 3 Champions League finals in the previous 4 years before his last transfer request).
Ironically, as soon as the club have brought in a world class player in his position, his work rate has halved and he is the one who can't stay in the team. He looks a shadow of his former self.
So if this is true, which it does appear to be, then nobody is bigger than the club and he can leave.
On a sidenote, how outrageously callous of him to allow this news to get out on the day SAF announces his retirement.
