Similar situations could be put forward for every player we sign - young or established.
Look at the comments about Van Persie. (i wont type the main one for fear of tempting fate)

yeah that's fair enough. if the club think he can play at the top level then it's a gamble but one worth taking.
you can see he's got ability, very comfortable with the ball even when he's got 2 or 3 guys on him. youtube clips from the championship aren't gonna sell me on a player though, i'll sit this one out.

We should get Saha back when he retires to coach Zaha. Haha.

I won't be gutted if we see £20m for him personally. FUCK THAT. £20 million is a pittance for a player who has played as well in as many big matches as Nani has. We fucking bought him as an unknown youngster for £18 million and he's still 26. We're taking a gamble on Zaha for around £12 million. We did the same with Jones for £18 million. We either sign him up to a new contract, knowing full well that on occasions he's going to piss us off with his decision making, or we try to get no less than £30 milion for him.

Well for 30m he wont be going to Arsenal that's for sure, he isn't over rated and hes not a teenager that can be tempted with a trail of Haribo so Whinger wont go for him so wed be save there.

Really hoping he goes to Arsenal or Spurs. Whilst i'd be delighted to be proven wrong should he sign, I just do not rate Zaha as a footballer. He's an average winger at best

Course he has. Otherwise Palace add another zero on the price tag.
