Now that would be a good move.

Heard a whisper when he signs for United, Fergie will let him go to wee Fergie's team? This one?

Sky Sports has been told the deal is '90 per cent' done and that barring any last-minute issues United will tie up a deal.
It is also understood that the deal could be worth as much as £8million based on appearances and achievements.

Jesus, this kid has incredible composure in front of goal. Would like to see whether he can pass as well, by that video it seems as if he could be a fantastic striker instead of a midfielder. From the little Ive seen of him(play off final and youtube) his passing is as good as his shooting, effortless. He has an eye for the intricate too which would be better appreciated by better players.

Its good that he won't be going back to crewe. That means either he plays for the first team( Very unlikely) or his loaned to some Mid Table team like Welbeck or Cleverley.
I don't want him playing in the reserves though.

I don't want him playing in the reserves though. Why not? Surely this lad at 18 would benefit more from being at United for a season than signing him and then loaning him out. As I've previously said, his year in the Crewe first team has given him a level of experience most his age don't. Also loan deals aren't some magical path to better players. He could do worse than spending a year with the best coaching and facilities in England, especially as we can educate him in our way of football.

I dont think we will loan this kid out.If he can adjust to the pace of the game he will get games next season, the boy is a natural.

I have a little annoying suspicion we might lose this kid, maybe to Arsenal. Don't know why really.
here's his twitter if anyone's keen to see what he's been saying, @npowell25:
My choice my decision my reasons #myfuture (13 hours ago)
Then:
Oh wow, I wasn't even on about football ... I don't wanna sound like that hazard guy. #awkward (Just after that)
