Aye, its an odd one as to why he hasn't signed. Supposed to be happy at the club, etc. Maybe the lure of foreign climes is the reason behind it. He certainly wouldn't be the first player to turn down a contract in England and fancy his chances abroad. I think he'd be badly advised if he did go abroad just now...maybe we could send him on a loan but that is also risky...he might like it there... I think he is good enough that he should get another go at the first team...maybe in the Carabao Cup or whatever it's called...He's tiny though. Not even close to being robust enough I don't think. He's only 17 and not a Rooney 17 either. Get him playing regularly for the reserves and see how he gets on, at least until the second half of the season. Once the League is wrapped up we can give him 15 minutes cameos in the first team. |
