I can't work out how to move between different areas without having to go back to "Home" each time (e.g. when I finish here and want to move to another section, I have to go back to "Home" and enter that way). It's the same if I'm in a thread, such as this one, and want to move on to another subject in the same section - back to "Home" re-enter the "Problems/etc" section and onwards from there.
This is really cumbersome and frustrating! There used to be a drop-down menu which was a great short-cut, am I missing it?

Do you have javascript enabled? Specifically "prbrds.com". If you hover over the thin navigation bar, you should get a drop-down menu once java is on.

Hi Graham,
If i understand you correctly, the way to get back to the section you was in is right underneath the 'home / blog / latest' bar. it says 'www.TheRepublikOfMancunia.org - Manchester united football club forum > Problems / Questions / News / Rules > New format advice please'
If i was to click the 'problems / questions / news / rules' part it would take me back to that part of the forum.
hopefully that makes sense
