I don't WANT anyone to leave including a player of Rooneys talent, but if you want to leave then just leave, don't whine, bitch or moan about it. Get your stuff and walk out the door, if you don't want to do that you shut up and get on with your job.
The reason I have a problem so much isn't down to the summer, it happened before that. It was the complete lack of respect he showed Fergie on his final game of the season. He chose to not play instead of putting his problems to one side and doing the job your paid to do he chose not to. Then when it came to lifting the trophy he was more than happy to put the kit on.
Players past and present that Fergie had problems with laid their differences aside and paid tribute to the man, Beckham, Ince, Keane, Stam and many many others whom he had issues with which ultimately led to them leaving all paid tribute. That alone shows the decency they had compared to that little turd.

Robson: "Rooney is improving every game he plays this season & I see a desire from him to show he's one of the best strikers in the world."
Yes, Bryan, so that he can increase the number of suitors vying for his signature and leave next summer.
How the fuck is no-one thinking this?

From that statement alone, it doesn't say that he thinks Rooney would stay... all he says is he's playing well this season. Probably under his breath, he might have added "... Still a douche, mind."

"Rooney rejects Manchester United contract advances. The England striker's current deal expires at the end of next season and his camp have recently rebuffed efforts from the Premier League champions to tie him down"

He's never going to walk out the door when he's getting paid so much to do whatever he wants. Don't think he can go anywhere else and demand they all bow down to him like he expects here.
Wouldn't blame chic aristo or kagawa if they decide they've had enough even in January.

Used to be when there was an older player with saleable value and a younger, better player waiting to take his place we would just sell the older player.
Now we get stuck with Rooney instead.

Ferguson himself set the precident. You mean by not retiring Giggs and playing him in midfield instead of Pogba? Or with Rooney? Because if you mean 2010, that was different. Rooney had a genuine concern about the overall good of the team (no top table signings), and he was our best forward then. We had to keep him. We don't now.

Stevie and Frank in midfield for England. Good to see, that's worked very well in the past.
