Morning all, What do you make of this? 2nd time I've heard this rumour but this time i have a link VucinicAccording to www.football-italia.net" Manchester United have stepped up their interest in Mirko Vucinic, reportedly offering £13m to Juventus.
This is not the first time they have been linked with the Montenegro international hitman, who could well leave Turin this summer.
He is increasingly pushed to the sidelines by the arrival of Carlos Tevez and Fernando Llorente, while the Bianconeri have also been unable to sell Fabio Quagliarella and Alessandro Matri.
According to the Corriere dello Sport, Manchester United are prepared to meet the €15m – approximately £13m – price-tag set by Juventus for Vucinic.
The 29-year-old scored 14 goals in 43 games in all competition for Juve last season, including 10 in Serie A.
To sell for €15m would be a sound financial move too, as Juve paid only a combined €9m plus performance-related bonuses for both Tevez and Llorente.

It's a strange rumour that pops up seemingly every transfer window. He's crap so the rumour source must come from either his agent to give him an ego pat, or the Montenegrin Tourism Board.

To be fair I like him, but can't see this happening at all. As others have said, it seems to crop up every transfer window but we've no need for him. Probably cost a fair bit and we've been linked with him for so long he's not even young anymore.

Put it this way, considering we've always had a crop of four or so strikers and with Rooney possibly leaving, the club could be looking at a willing fourth option who is both effective and willing to join. Juve have an entirely new strikeforce too.
Enough there that makes sense.
I've always liked him, for the record, excellent work rate and he can finish.
