Not too sure, was discussing it with a guy on twitter too. It's becoming pretty manic in the sense that I've stopped believing we're capable of signing a top midfielder. That capacity seems to have been lost and it's relatively hilarious that we've not replaced adequately for the last 6/7 years. We're all avid United fans, and will be for life, but this situation has been poorly handled by the club and it's left us scrapping and looking desperate.

For whatever reason this seems to be our bogey position, I find it pretty funny by now.

Maybe cos he has only just joined PSG & like gundogan, has never even hinted he wants to leave.

But the press write stories linking us with everyone cos they know people will read them and believe them, then when they don't happen, they don't blame the press for writing crap or blame themselves for believing made up shit in the first place, they blame the club or not signing them.

Whoever is keeping tabs on the players we have missed out on this summer needs to add Messi, Ibrahimovic, Iniesta, Xavi, Puyol, Pirlo, etc etc to the list
