The kid looks raw, but I love his combative and competitive style.
Looks bright, won the Jimmy Murphy YPOTY last season too.
Definitely got a shot at making it at United and, given that he's been at the club since 2004 (when he was 9), he could be our next big homegrown player to come through the ranks.

U18's beat the southern area leaders Spurs 1-0 this morning. Another goal from Ashley Fletcher, being his 12th of the season.

Did anybody else see Mitchell at the Milk Cup? It was like when you're in school and that one kid who plays for the national U-18s plays. Different class. Borthwick-Jackson had a great tournament as well.
I know it's a massive jump to Premier League level, but then again what age was Shaw two years ago?

From the little I saw Mitchell looked the biz...got 4 goals in that 11-0 thrashing...would he get first team action at Soton? Unlikely I would say so he as well off staying here and learning the LvG way...

As I said, it's a possibility, and I reckon LvG would like to take a look at him personally before letting him go away somewhere to continue his education. |

Since i get to see highlights and sometimes extended highlights when friends upload and post me - have to say that i have seen only little of Mitchell, but what i saw i liked. I'd rather he progressed with Lvg keeping tabs on him but who knows maybe Saints could be the blessing in disguise he needs maybe
