He deserves a hefty pay rise. Maybe not put him on Pogba money, but he at least deserves Miki money.

www.football365.com/news/weekly-awards-herrera-pogba-mignolet-dembeleWhen Eden Hazard returned home late on Sunday evening, he sheepishly closed the door, cast his keys aside in aimless frustration and collapsed onto the sofa. He turned on the television and robotically flicked through the channels in search of a programme that would indulge his desire for monotonous, meaningless nothingness. He briefly regretted not taping Antiques Roadshow so he could watch it later, deepening his sense of desolation. He turned on his CD player, inserting his favourite edition of ‘Now That’s What I Call Music!’ – No. 61 for anyone with any sort of taste in music. He retreated to the bathroom. He ran himself a warm bath and lit a few candles. His mood improved. He felt more calm, more serene, more at peace with the events that had unfolded hours earlier. His state of tranquility was suddenly interrupted as he saw a figure pass his window out of the corner of his eye. Hazard carefully climbed out of the bath and grabbed a nearby dressing gown – club-branded, obviously. He heard a knock on the door. He saw the figure standing there, motionless. “Who is it?” he asked calmly. No answer. He attempted to ignore the situation, but the second knocking on the door pierced the painful silence. These were the late hours on a Sunday evening – Easter bloody Sunday, no less – but Hazard knew he could not turn a blind eye. He opened the door. Before Hazard could ask who he was or what he wanted, the figure strolled into his house, helped himself to some food, and sprawled on the sofa. It was Ander Herrera. Not content with shadowing Hazard’s every move for 90 minutes at Old Trafford, he followed the Belgian home, tripping him at irregular intervals, being the generally brilliantly snide b*stard that he is. And this was his house now. Oh, and he also scored one goal and assisted the other against the league leaders in a potentially decisive game. So yeah.

Ander just gets it, gets what the club is about, gets what needs to be done as a player representing the club on and off the pitch. He understands he needs to strive for improvement as he can be replaced. sign a couple more anders in the summer in relevant positions and I'm sure we will be just fine

The guy just oozes class. Haven't seen many players in the past have so much pride and passion for the club.
Hopefully Jose will give him the armband next season, nobody deserves it more. Also it will reinstate pride back into it after the last 3 years of it being tarnished with potato shit.

In some ways I suppose it's a compliment but both Real's and Barca's rags have been running stories of how good he's been lately. Everyone's favourite litter liner, Marca, went so far as to say Jose has told him he can leave if the price is right.

If there's any truth in that, I'd strongly imagine it was De Gea and Mata (given one has already been sold previously by Mourinho and one very nearly left a couple of years ago).
I'd be amazed if he was ok with Herrera leaving, and completely incredulous if Herrera wanted out.

Mou simply isn't going to tell Hairera that he can leave

Maybe DDG if true but not Herrera or Mata ffs, Jose just cannot be that mental.

sure Jose wont sell a player he can trust so much to do a job, a man marking job on Hazard. no way. definitely BS

I'd imagine the only conversation involving Mourinho telling Herrera he can leave will have also included the words, 'Hazard alone now'.
