Someone just suggested to me that Mata will come on as a sub on Tuesday. Tell me he is wrong.

Someone just suggested to me that Mata will come on as a sub on Tuesday. Tell me he is wrong. It's a possibility. To be honest i think Mata will start on Tuesday as he needs games that's for sure, also don't forget Rooney and RVP are still out. |

I can remember mocking Liverpool fans for signing Johnson for 18m a few years ago. That much money for a full back just sits wrong with me. Especially one so young and unproven.

Really buzzing about signing Mata. He's not everything we need, but when players like him become available, we should be in there trying to get them. Not too bothered about how much we pay for anyone. Players cost money.
I've thought for the last few days that our other announcement will be Rooney's new deal. It's annoying but that's life.
Can't see us getting Shaw. I like him a lot, but I can see him going to Chelsea in the summer.
Still need that midfielder. Doubt we'll get it in this window, but Mata is more than a good start and at least it's a step towards showing everyone that we're not dead and a dynasty can't collapse over night. Unless David Moyes is in charge of it, in which case it can. But positivity! Roll on Cardiff!

I had a feeling something like this would happen.
That effectively signals the end of Kagawa ever getting a fair chance for us.
300k for that fucking wanker. The biggest hindrance to our progress as a team currently.
