Devastated would be if we missed out on Matuidi at 8mill and ended up paying more than or 20Mil for Cabaye IMO. Let's not forget this was the player who wouldn't play for the bar-codes once gunners bid was rejected-- do we really want him when options are available. I can understand if none are available but we can go for Matuidi /Fernando before settling for Cabaye. Also with Mata saying more players are to come in - i wonder if we have discussed possible targets with him or given a hint or do we already have certain deals in place surprisingly really It reminds me of SAF telling RvP that he doesnt have any plans to retire soon at the time of signing him.

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos insists he is keeping his options open, after being linked with a move to Manchester United.
The Germany international has 18 months left on his current deal, and speculation intensified over his future after United boss David Moyes watched him in action last week - accompanied by one of Kroos's representatives.
The 24-year-old has already turned down the offer of a new deal at the Allianz Arena and he is seemingly in no rush to have dialogue with the club.
"I am unable to rule anything out," he told kicker-Sportmagazin.
"I am under contract with Bayern Munich (until June 2015). Actually there are yet no further talks (regarding a new contract) scheduled. I will therefore fully focus on the second half of the season.
"There are worse situations in life. I play for a top club, and under a top coach. I am pleased, and sometime in the future a decision will be made."
Kroos, who has won 41 caps for his country to date, has made 118 Bundesliga appearances for Bayern, scoring 12 goals.

Seems dead set on signing a new and improved contract, but my word, Kroos would be a cracking signing.
A game-changer.
Anyone know what Bayern's wage structure is like? If his contract runs out in a year we could get him for relatively cheap and offer him massive wages, perhaps even more than what they're offering in Bavaria.
Still, it would surprise me if he moved, though one has to wonder why Moyes was sitting with his agent. Surely he isn't just being wound up?

He's haggling for a new contract, he must of been told by Thaigo "just talk to Manchester United and Bayern will offer more"

Is his agent deliberately flirting with big clubs to wake Bayern up with an improved deal?......

Didnt Bayern take on Gotze at a big wage? Wouldn't be surprising if Kroos wants parity. Unfortunately this is what agents do these days, why just happily sign the deal they want you to sign when you can stall out a few months and force the extra money out of them as they risk losing the player. I'm not reading into it to much, they probably sign him up. that said though, when Pep signed Thiago I'd have thought that would have pissed one of the Bayern line up off. They've had injuries so far, but it'll be interesting to see who gets dropped when they're all fit.

PSG just got Cabaye for 20m Source: the Guardian What a crying shame. I cannot be the only one thinking this is a Football Manager-like signing. Alright player with strangely inflated Current Reputation moves to big spending club where he'll eventually end up only playing a handful of times in the long-run. Once Cabaye goes through we should be in for Matuidi. That really is a no brainer.

Are any of us really that confident of getting in anymore signings before Friday? A lot of names being touted around currently.

Ribery, Alaba and even Schweiny's contract talks dragged on. All the players eventually signed an extension. Kroos will follow suit. Not sure where all this game time is coming from. Pep loves this fella and has been the most used player current season.

I think.. Mata & Shrek have been told what the other signings are. Mata did mention about other signings for the summer.. I don't think we will sign anyone this Month even though i think we should.
