On SSN i noticed this Juventus general director Giuseppe Marotta has denied reports that his club have reopened talks with Inter Milan with a view to signing Fredy Guarin. The Turin giants came close to acquiring the Colombia midfielder last week, only for Inter to pull out of negotiations. Does that mean Guarin a replacement for someone?

Ribery, Alaba and even Schweiny's contract talks dragged on. All the players eventually signed an extension. Kroos will follow suit. Not sure where all this game time is coming from. Pep loves this fella and has been the most used player current season. I wouldn't want Ribery anywhere near this club....

I think.. Mata & Shrek have been told what the other signings are. Mata did mention about other signings for the summer.. I don't think we will sign anyone this Month even though i think we should. as much as it could be possible, imo, its laugable also, for us to be able to boldly tell Roonay and/or Mata ( which i am still against btw) we'd have to either have done the deals, come to an agreement or have an verbal understanding with the said player and resp. clubs. See CFC and Atl.Madrid with Costa likewise. Given our general speed in transfers and also the kind of players we seem to be after i doubt any of that would have been done and therefore it can only be a probable list of names which anybody could draw, Like LFC wanting Pastore and going in with 12M bid ( rumored). Once Cabaye goes through we should be in for Matuidi. That really is a no brainer. we should have gone even if they hadn't but now that they have , we should defo and follow it with Fernando. - I am being too greedy now As for Kroos - we should be happy that we are linked with him cos i think that's as far as him and United will go. I see a new bigger Contract. i still feel it would have been more about Rues - share the same agent don't they

www1.skysports.com/football/news/11667/9137771/transfer-news-arturo-vidal-staying-put-at-juventusChile midfielder Arturo Vidal has insisted that he is not thinking about leaving Juventus. Vidal has been strongly linked with Manchester United, but he says he is not looking for a transfer away from Turin. The 26-year-old was speaking at a gala dinner after being named in the Serie A team of the year. "Will I leave? No, I will definitely stay in Turin," the midfielder told Rai Sport. "I've scored 10 important goals for the team this season but I must give thanks to my team-mates." Team-mate Andrea Pirlo, who is in talks over extending his stay at Juve was named alongside Vidal as he was crowned Player of the Year by the Association of Italian Footballers. When asked about his future, he simply said: "I stay at Juve." -------- So that's that on Vidal.

Read a Schweinsteiger rumor just now. I love Schweini. But. We should not be going down that road IMO. It has passed. He is 29, and the injuries are surfacing. If we as a club have to move forward then we Kroos do better than Schweini.

I still think Kevin "Not good enough for United" Strootman could have been great for us.
€17 million?
A steal.

Once Cabaye goes through we should be in for Matuidi. That really is a no brainer. City are favourites if he leaves, I think he'll sign a new contract though once all this court bullshit is sorted out. Regarding Kroos, will probably end up signing a new contract, wants clarity with Schweinsteiger, Lahm and Gotze. Ribery is the biggest earner and earns more than all the previous names. One player I've always wished we'd tried to buy (I'm sure we have at some point) is Lahm, top top player who probably doesn't get the recognition he deserves. Says it all really when he can go from playing RB predominantly for the last few years to then switch to DM and maintain a very high level. One player I'd like us to be interested in is Griezmann, cracking little player and wouldn't cost a fortune, would be a great replacement for Young / Valencia / Nani.

Lahm, to me, has been the most consistent fullback in the world for an age - top, top player.

Another Chicharito to Monaco rumour and this time it's the hispanics(ESPN).
Chicharito Hernández firmará contrato con el AS Mónaco tras la reciente lesión de Radamel Falcao
Google tells me that this translates into:
Chicharito Hernandez (has) signed (a) contract with AS Monaco after the recent injury (to) Radamel Falcao.
Well it's the same rumour. Just different language.
