Two hugely important things you muppets have failed to mention about Kroos. Both of which are far more important than passing stats and midfield twos.
1. His nickname is the Sniper. The fucking sniper.
2. He's the image of Daryl from The Walking Dead.
Do it Moyes.

What a dream scenario. We sign Matuidi on the cheap, PSG are pissed so go all out to get Rooney. We play the whole "He's going nowhere, he's so special". PSG make a mega bid we cannot refuse. Rooney signs for them. We have signed Mata and Matuidi, sold Rooney and made a profit. Best. Transfer. Window. Ever.

City are in talks with Porto for Mangala and Fernando and it would be no surprise if they went and paid £40m for both tomorrow. Mangala is supposedly a target for us so so it'll be interested to see if we make a move or not, saying that, I cannot see us spending anywhere close to the £38m they have supposedly bid. Hell of a lot of money considering Varane for example went for around 10m euros and Zouma is expected to go for a little higher. Would rather we spend the money more wisely (e.g. Garay) and put the rest towards other areas.

At this point, I couldn't care less about whether a player is cup tied for the measly 4 matches we have left in the CL or what a players "true value" is. I'm more concerned with ensuring we get any CL football in the foreseeable future. We need talent. Pay the damn money.

Bollocks to this seasons champions league, we have no hope of winning it anyway (anyone thinks different, spend 5 minutes thinking about our midfield up against Bayerns. Then spend 5 hours in a darkened room, hugging your knees, sobbing and occasionally screaming).

Fernando could be an opportunity lost, we genuinely need that type of player if only to ensure we get into the top 4.
Surely if we had any interest we'd step in?
Then again, City are probably just pulling a Dynamo and assembling all the midfielders so that no-one (United) can strengthen.
Spurs apparently want 12 million for Capoue, I quite like him.

Matuidi wont be going anywhere, the reason he hasn't signed any deal is due to some legal action between him and his ex-agent. Chances are once thats resolved he'll just stay at PSG. Not sure about Fernando, isnt he just a orthodox DM type, good at defending, not so good on the ball?

Yeah, I reckon we were never really that interested in him anyway. Besides, we already have a giant orthodox midfielder who's not too good at defending and not too great on the ball
