Jmaes Ducker reckons United are still trying to get someone in. That someone could be any of 100 players!

If we throw in a Matuidi bid and PSG make a swoop for Rooney, all that Moyes - Rooney ego-fucking at every opportunity will have been worth it. Also, Jones Kroos --- --- Januzaj --- Kagawa --- Mata
... ? Holy fuckballs of Zeus.

I thought Zaha was held back until Nani was fit, but if Nani goes out on loan then working on that principle Zaha will stay. I prefer to send Young out on loan, somewhere like Bosnia or Russia and keep Nani and Zaha......

Fernando could be an opportunity lost, we genuinely need that type of player if only to ensure we get into the top 4. Surely if we had any interest we'd step in? Then again, City are probably just pulling a Dynamo and assembling all the midfielders so that no-one (United) can strengthen. Spurs apparently want 12 million for Capoue, I quite like him. Good shout, think spurs are mad to let him go

On Kroos - anyone secretly suspect that Guardiola has seen Mourinho sell us one of if not his best midfielder and, in the spirit of their rivalry and just to spite/outdo Jose, has decided he is going to sell us one of if not his best midfielders as well. Maybe even for less money?

Maybe even for less money? Fan of Castle series is it or member of conspiracy theories anonymous But honestly i am amazed that there aren't enough reports and noise about some world exclusive, shocking United transfer - was there quite a lot end of summer - i am disappointed with Ed - he didn't even try to go for Messi

To be honest, if City getting Fernando means they don't get Matuidi then I'll be happy, Fernando is very much a De Jong Mark II. He's great at getting stuck in / protecting the back four, but doesn't offer a great deal else, it could help them if they decided to play a midfield trio, but he certainly ain't going to displace Fernandinho.
Report in the Independent this morning stating that two other unnamed clubs are interested in Konoplyanka; "United officials were also tight-lipped over their potential interest but with rumours in Italy that Internazionale are keen on taking Nani on loan and Wilfried Zaha set to complete his short-term move to Cardiff, manager David Moyes could be in the market for more wide players.". Would be a good option for us and an improvement on what we've currently got.

Fernandinho, what a player he is.
I'll have to take your word for it Alt, haven't really seen Fernando play all that often but we need more than what you've described.
Strootm...nevermind.

As of now, #mufc unlikely to add to the squad before deadline, although still trying.

Fernando is overkill when we got afro. Might aswell give Felli a go! He can only improve, surely?
If we can't add before deadline, like someone already suggested, Powell and Blackett should be utilized.
