Oh fuck right off. Love how both, in particular Larnell Cole, got absolutely fair go's in the first team shake up for a decent run. Fuck off United. Hang on a second, were they both going to get regular outings in the side? Answer is nil, no, nada.
It's the clubs prerogative if they let them go, you clown. Holier than thou, Repubik of Bestie. You're so up your own backside it's untrue. ffs. Get over it. Hmm. This was kind of my point. No, it was my whole point. Also true. I'm voicing my displeasure at the club's decision if the story is true. It's the Republik of Mancunia actually. You should be able to tell, it's right there in the banner at the top of the forum.
But please, do keep up the personal attacks on a Mod. That'll end well for you. Not even from me taking it personally, or anything quite so dainty, as much as it'll be all the other Staff members not tolerating it.Why would anyone speak like that on their 3rd post? Right. I think his larger point, minus the personal attack, was that no one is entitled to first team football. That larger point would make sense if I had ever said anyone was entitled to first team football. I want our youth graduates and U-21s to get their chances in the first team set-up, yes. Not because they are entitled to it, but because giving youth and particularly homegrown youth is part of United. It's a pillar of what we are, at the very core of us as a football club. Exciting, attacking football played young, United-educated players. That is Us. @ AusRe(dad) & Alexantas - On our tactics, Moyes has had one dimension with Everton, although there was some brilliant football wedged in there at times. Only thing I reckon is that we should not be changing our methods to his. It should be the other way around. We're the ones who have won everything in the last 20 years. (But not the UEFA Cup, but we've hardly been in it so next season could be a good opportunity ...) Moyes needs to find a way get width in our play and attacking impetus in our play. If and how he does that remains to be seen.

If and how he does that remains to be seen. I guess what I meant was that he, or any other manager managing anywhere, should look at their players before deciding on a tactic UNLESS you have the luxury to retain / buy / select players to the formation you want. If your team has zero wingers that can cross, but have absolute football geniuses who can operate at AM, then you'll have to strongly consider. Otherwise, if we stick to how we have played for the past 25 plus years - he could simply deploy Januzaj out right, and Mata on the left, have them rotate positions and pushing Rooney / Kagawa / Powell farther up rather than always coming deep and shifting long balls. Januzaj has proven to be great at the wings. However, having said this, I don't think Kagawa is 100% efficient without an efficient midfield and he isn't suited to long / direct football. He's more of a tiki-taka footballer and prefers ball to feet, short passes and movement kind of footballer IMO. I always think long / direct football is exciting, pacey, spam & attack, while short passing is sharp, precise & concise. Either of which I think can work for us - but not the shit we are playing at the moment. If I remember correctly, I think you'd like us to stick with our conventional attacking from the flank, high tempo football - but I don't know mate... with Moyes, if there's anything he can find that will work, I'll be happy.

Selling as opposed to loaning Tunners makes not signing Strootman even worse.

Carbs will be so disappointed he didn't get to do it. I did try to warn the guy. I liked that that was only his 3rd post, after this was his 2nd: Kroos is quality. If we nab him it will be our best ever transfer month. Agree totally.
Hi fellas, new member here, joined about a half hour ago or so. Be gentle.
Cheers, i'll wade myself in gently.
Christ mate, if that's wading in gently I'd hate to see you in full flow.

Right now, I'll settle for that. If we can work some exciting wingers/crossing ability into that along the line that'd be perfection.

The BBC reporting:
Manchester City are attempting to sign Porto pair Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando.
City manager Manuel Pellegrini was cagey about new arrivals after the 5-1 win at Tottenham on Wednesday.
However, both players may join the Premier League leaders before the transfer window closes on Friday.
France defender Mangala, 22, is rated at £35m and is one of Europe's most coveted talents, while Fernando, 26, would add to City's midfield resources.
Mangala is also attracting attention from Manchester United and Paris St-Germain.
If he moves to Etihad Stadium, it reopens the possibility of a loan move for England defender Joleon Lescott, who has played just eight Premier League games this season and has been a target for West Ham United.
Fernando was the subject of interest from Everton on deadline day last August, when manager Roberto Martinez attended a work permit hearing before the deal fell through.
He has also been linked with a move to AC Milan

Oh well.

(external) Worrying if this goes through. They effectively don't have any weaknesses as it is. It's like adding the finishing paint to a navy sub. Edit: you bitch Daz .
