Final Major of the year with the PGA Championship this week. The least prestigious by some way but usually a very entertaining tournament.
No UK broadcasters have it for TV. The rights have been purchased by elevensports.co.uk. Who are offering a free 7 day trail to sign up now. So it's worth just signing up to make use of the trial to watch the tournament. Have to cancel before the 7 days are up though, or else you'll be charged the huge amount of £5.99.
The 6 losers I've backed this week are: Rahm, Noren, Finau, Schauffele. With 2 big outsiders (110/1) in Woodland and Bradley.

Tiger about to win for the first time in 5 years. Genuinely never thought I'd see this again. Absolute goosebumps watching him walking up the 18th hole.

Another cheating bastard I quite like. Good to see. I'd love it if he somehow got back to his best. Still youngish for a golfer.

Can't wait for the Ryder Cup to start tomorrow. The USA team is ridiculously good, the strongest ever they say but plenty are saying the same about the Europeans as well.
The course will be setup to suit the Europeans and the likes of Fleetwood, Noren and Molinari all have good records on the course in the French Open. Fleetwood and Noren have won the last 2 renewals.
For that reason I can see Europe edging it but can't discount the US side purely based on the sheer talent that exists within it.

Must admit I find golf boring as shit but somehow love watching the Ryder cup. Will be keeping a close eye on it. I was never much of a golf fan myself until 5/6 years ago. I used to always watch The Open and some Ryder Cups but beyond that, barely anything, maybe 20 minutes of The Masters here and there.
If I'm being honest and it will come as no great surprise but my interest in golf came from betting on it. I had my first bet in the 2012 Masters on Louis Oosthuizen where he was 2nd, losing to Bubba Watson in a play off.
Since then I've been completely hooked. Haven't missed a major or Ryder Cup since and now watch nearly every regular European Tour and PGA Tour event as well. I still bet on it but not every week and I'll still watch tournaments without betting on it, so it's gone from betting interest to a genuine sporting interest.

Just to toot my own horn I actually had my best week ever in terms of golf betting last week. I backed the top 3 in the Portugal Masters. 50/1 winner, with 100/1 and 22/1 shots finishing tied for 2nd. Backed them all each way, most I've won in a single day from any sport in quite a while.
I actually do pretty well with golf betting. Should stick to it and leave the football alone to be honest!!

I'd even say he looked uninterested this morning. By rights they should be leaving him out of the pairings for tomorrow morning.

If the U.S are sensible they'll bench Mickelson until the singles, he's been so poor and for a good few months now.

Amazing from Europe. Didn't see it coming at all. Absolutely dominated the Americans. That's a thrashing.

Fantastic afternoon performance. I'd stick Molinari and Fleetwood out for both sessions tomorrow as well. They're going to be a very hard team to beat around here.
Also kind of hope it because I had a little bet on Molinari for top points scorer!
