Chaps- I’ve a flying visit to Manchester tomorrow. We’re staying quite close to the Football Museum. Where would be a good place for a family to eat? Brand new menu and I believe they have 25% off your total bill including drinks currently running at their sites Sunday-Thursday www.solita.co.uk/menus/That place is rammed every time I walk past! Need those Naga wings.

Top work lads. Vietnamese place in Arndale for lunch and burgers in Solita for dinner. Stuffed but fantastic food.
Thanks from us all.

I want to get to Solita when I'm in Manchester this season. Try heading to the Prestwich site. I don't think it gets as busy as the city centre one. Also, try its sister restaurant, El Taquero. It's a Mexican place, obvz, but all the chefs are Mexican/Central American. Grub at Fairfield Warehouse near the train station is also a shout for a scran. Street food galore. Take lots of cash though. Also, Bundobust next to the 'Spoons in Piccadilly Gardens. Veggie Indian cuisine that serves it's own craft ales. A group of 6 can order the entire menu to share.

I'm off on a trip to OT on Saturday...stadium tour...this is a present from my son...
I did tell him that I had already been but I am also supposed to be a bit of a guide for his partner's Mum and sister...
Lunch and drinkies somewhere in the Northern Quarter afterwards...
I used to know that area quite well, when my daughter lived in Ancoats but any recommendations of a good place for lunch etc?

Luck Lust Liquor Burn, Cane and Grain, Solita and El Taqueri if you’re he’ll bent on NQ. Rudy’s pizza is in ancoats and you’ve got 7 Brothers ale house there too. Go Viet Shack though. Or Pancho’s in the Arndale food market too if after something lighter. There’s Grub near Piccadilly Train station. ABC Brewery got freshest of fresh craft ales too.
