I am certain we all love that brilliant moment when he was one on one with Stepney. He unleashed a thundetbolt of a shot to win the game for Benfica but not only did Stepney save it, he held it.
Eusebio applauded. Fabulous moment from a fabulous footballer.

In his prime he was lethal. Yet he applauded Stepney, often forgotten he led the applause and the handshakes for Bobby's second goal in England's semi final against Portugal in 66. Imagine Rooney scoring today and all the Scousers shaking his hand afterwards!!! RIP 'Black Panther'

Football was football back then, people played and behaved as if it was a sport. Football has become very tribal in nature since those days. He's one of the worlds great players, and a stand out player in a generation of great players that included Pele, Di Stefano, Charlton, Best etc etc
