I'm glad they announced this separately to Pogba and Lingard leaving.
Genuinely gutted to see Mata leave, a case of what could have been but irrespective of that the bloke was class on and off the pitch.
Good luck wherever or whatever he does next.

He was criminally played out of position by multiple managers.
I can see him going back to Spain and still playing to a high level. Never had any pace to lose, his vision and passing are still incredible.

Right. Sad to see him go without being properly used. There’s talk of him becoming a club ambassador in the future which would work for everyone.
However, he’s a former player now so this is locked.

There are very few players in the post-Fergie era that I really liked, Juan is one of them. Wish he had won some more stuff here, what a player.
