I enjoyed the chat above from 09! I like how even in 2009 I was negative as fuck about our chances of signing players. Of all the things that have changed in the world in the last half a decade, my bleak outlook on our chances of acquiring talent is not one of them. |

With the exception of midfield in the last few season we've been excellent my entire life at aquiring new talent so I'm trying not to let our CM get me down. I'm confident we're getting at least one good one this season. |

People point to Mail/MEN saying the deal is basically done forget that last Summer they proved that they really don't know fuck all.

Nah, I'm just playing. If there are quotes or a more reliable journo there might be a fraction of a chance.
Until then it's all conjecture, at least until after the World Cup it would seem.
Though United are said to want to get deals done before then - whether Kroos is one of them I'm not so sure (at all).
What's worrying is reading a lot of opinions of people who follow the Bundesliga saying he's not really mobile, I'm getting the impression that, hypothetically, we're buying 30-year old Paul Scholes (he hasthe passing range of Scholesey & a fierce shot too) and we'd need to buy another mobile box-to-box player to sit next to him as his defensive work isn't exactly sky high.

We have just announced Louis van Gaal as our manager and he has worked with Kroos previously and following the departures of Nemanja Vidic and Rio Ferdinand, we have plenty of money left on the wage bill as well as the cash pot we already had for this summer.
