Hermann - Given our current standing and eventual final place come end of the season and DM still at Helm is more likely and yes as SEPhil says he is good .
Kroos while he'd be a great buy and is a big Talent and we'd probably need him or someone like him as a Big Name to cover over the disappointment i can't see him wanting to come and still feel this is just another one of those Agent's milking.
Rakitic, Feghouli, maybe even Munian these we could probably get in say 2016 if DM continues and gets his "Luck" and i am being overly optimistic here

Bayern Munich midfielder Toni Kroos is considering a move to Manchester United, according to his brother. Felix Kroos, who plays for Werder Bremen in the Bundesliga, says his older sibling now has to decide whether to leave the European champions in the direction of the Premier League
United boss David Moyes watched Kroos score during Bayern’s 2-0 Champions League win at Arsenal last month. The 24-year-old has yet to sign a new contract with Bayern, his current deal expiring next summer. And that has given United hope of landing his signature, as Felix told Sky Germany: ‘We have already talked about it. Manchester has been the team of my dreams since I was a child. ‘However, I don’t give him any advice. He will take a good decision for himself. There are worse situations than having to decide something like that.’
Meanwhile, Bayern honorary president Franz Beckenbauer has stressed that the club will not be held to ransom by Kroos. ‘You have to make a decision as a club when someone's demands are going through the roof,’ he told Sky. ‘There is not a single player who's worth changing your entire wage structure for. ‘Nobody's indispensable. If the player wants to stay at Bayern, I can only advise him not to overplay his hand.’

I love how everyone still considers us the only team in Manchester Either that, or we have another Hazard-esque identity crisis.

____________________________ Dare to dream? forget Kroos coming in here - i wish we could have had someone in here now to have been able to say that. As for Kroos - it has all the ingredients of Cesc, Thiago & Hazard saga and for all if it comes true - we'd be absolutely destroying a German( DM stays) after having waited so long to have one in our team .

What's the point in even getting close to excited about Kroos?
Even if he were to join, you think Moyes would use him anywhere close to properly?
He'd have him hitting aimless long passes 50 yards straight onto the head of centre halfs. Or failing that, giving him the number 1 instruction all players must steadfastly adhere to at all times, which is "Give the fucking ball to Rooney, OK?! Give it to him!!"
I wouldn't even be that arsed if we did sign a player of his calibre, because Moyes wouldn't have a fucking clue how to get the best out of him.

Means bugger all that Moyes met with Kroos' agent. All being well Moyes won't be the one trying to sign Kroos in the summer ...

There's no way in any of the rings of hell that this is happening in the way we'd like it to.

His agent also represents Götze, Höwedes & Reus.
I wonder if we need a CB...

sportwitness.ning.com/forum/topics/manchester-united-target-kroos-confirms-interest-says-transfer-woThis week's edition of Kicker magazine has a piece on the future of Toni Kroos and what could happen in his future. The majority of the article is filled with praise for the midfielder from people like Uli Hoeness and Jupp Heynckes. The latter is quoted as saying that Kroos would be wrong to leave Bayern Munich for anyone and believes that no player in the prime of their career should even consider an exit from the club for a moment. Kroos has certainly done that and Bayern haven't been able to get him to agree a new contract. In Germany there have been many leaks and direct quotes from people connected to the club which have made Kroos sound greedy and painted the contract stand-off as being solely down to money. The midfielder himself has denied this and Kicker quote him as saying "It is not a question of money, it is not my character. But I'd be lying if I said it does not count. We discussed at length but we have not managed to come to an agreement in January. No date has been set. Real Madrid and Barcelona? All I can say is that a few clubs have come forward." One of those clubs is almost certainly Manchester United and David Moyes would be pulling off a huge transfer if he managed to get Kroos to Old Trafford during the summer transfer window. Any operation wouldn't be cheap but with Kroos' contract running out in June 2015 it puts Bayern in a difficult situation should he not renew. The Daily Mail said on Monday that Moyes watched Kroos play at the weekend and it's not the first time he's reportedly scouted the midfielder this year. There's every possibility Kroos is using the interest of other clubs to help cement his standing at Bayern Munich, for him to confirm that a few clubs have come forward will worry the Bundesliga leaders.

I'm still disgusted that Moyes reckons Kroos requires extensive scouting.
