Ken Barlow found not guilty. In summing up, the judge reckoned that his victims must all have been Manchester City supporters.
You hear nothing from them for 40 odd years, then they all pipe up at once!

You hear nothing from them for 40 odd years, then they all pipe up at once! Who? What? Trust me mate there isn't a lot to know. He is an 80 year old soap star in Britain. The show is called Coronation street and its older than me. This particular git, who was in the show from its black and white days, is a self righteous git well known for his philandering and has just escaped from a serious case involving rape. That's as much as you will ever need to know. Just in case you're wondering why I know, as a little lad it was the only television just before bed time. I then lived in a typical terraced house in Manchester and the programme was set on the same kind of street. Would you believe why anyone wanted to watch what they were living with? Families were just as crazy then as they are now!! I hated it then and I hate it now especially Living in Germany where they line up shows to imitate it, with the same dreadful casts only in colour. |
