Irrelevant. USA had it in 1994. Might be better than Qatar but then again so is Macclesfield. Australia should have got it, although I always selfishly resent them having it that far away. True but I don't want it is aussieland. 17 hour time diffrence lol. If Australians can wake up to watch football every week, so can we for a month. Japan/Korea World Cup had audience by the way, I don't see why Australia wouldn't have the same.

no issues with russia (in footballing terms) hosting a WC. i know they have huge social problems when it comes to racism and homophobia, not to mention the current political issues with ukraine/crimea, but at least they're a nation of some footballing pedigree with a somewhat respected national league and no shortage of suitable stadia, as opposed to qatar.
i think the aussies should be given 2022, and serious consideration given to a european nation (UK, Italy) for 2026, with the US getting it in 2030. Italia '90 is the first WC i remember and as far as i remember it was enjoyable, but it's about time the competition came back to the UK/England (providing there's no repeat of "football coming home")

Interesting to see that Jack Warner, who previously denied all knowledge of anything at all, regarding anything at all, suddenly has an epiphany and now has documented evidence of where ALL FIFA bodies are buried. Is this because FIFA are now supposedly after putting a cap in his ass?Poor chap's "in fear of his life" The implosion of FIFA increases exponentially!

Sounds like one of those situations where it might be best to shoot them all and let a higher power sort it out
