Hi everyone, posting here from sunny southern California... Started following United around 97/98, it was by accident, sometime I would tune to Spanish ESPN to watch some soccer/football, but this one time I'd came across a CL match, was hooked instantly by the quality, back then it was hard to get quality soccer to watch in the states. There were so many good teams to watch, over a course of a year or so I noticed that United's style was the team I was gravitating to. It was tough for the next couple of years, because the only times I could watch United play was during the CL matches... It wasn't till around 2001 when EPL games began to be shown here in the states, and have been in bliss since then... well not true, this year has been tough, the lean years of mid 2000 was a cake walk compare to United under Moyes.
Favorite players Scholes, Giggs, Ronaldo, Vidic, and Becks
One of the few faults I have with SAF is when he picked Roy Carroll over Tim Howard, but in the end it worked out great for us because we ended up with VDS... just like when Becks was let go, but then again would we had gotten Ronaldo if Becks was still on the team? But the biggest fault was Moyes... maybe keeping to SAF uncanny trend we will hopefully end up with a great manager... maybe Klopp, fingers crossed. Which part of Cali? Obviously not San Fran. |
