Just had a football discussion in our office about Arsenal and Liverpool, the Liverpool 'fan' pipes up with the usual "we're higher than you" "where are you in the league" etc etc, this particular 'fan' only ever watches their games when they win, it's always "I was out" "wife wouldn't let me" when they lose or draw. He cannot for the life of him pronounce any players names correctly, or managers for that matter, it's always "Storage" this and "Brandan Rodgers" that, "Sworez" this, "David Moyles" that. He's bought himself a 'vintage' shirt from the late 70's yet he says he's had it his whole life (even though it fits perfectly now!).
On top of all this, he's just claimed he hopes City's players "die in a plane crash" instead of playing Villa because "that's what happens with teams from Manchester isn't it?". Honestly, I would never normally want City to win the league but I really fucking hope they do because of this absolute moron in our office.
It's hilarious that over the past few weeks I've heard so much shit from their fans about winning the league, winning games, Brendan Rodgers this, Luis Suarez that and since they've fucked up it's gone ever so silent.
So please, City, if you read this, put them out of their misery, and ours, and win the league.
Cheers

Liverpool 5-1 Arsenal - You never know!
Fulham 2-3 Liverpool - You never know!
Liverpool 4-3 Swansea - Top 4's in the bag!
Southampton 0-3 Liverpool - We're gonna finish 3rd!
Man Utd 0-3 Liverpool - We knocked United off their perch!
Cardiff 3-6 Liverpool - We can win the league!
Liverpool 2-1 Sunderland - We're gonna win the league!
Liverpool 4-0 Tottenham - We're gonna win the league!
West Ham 1-2 Liverpool - We're gonna win the league!
Liverpool 3-2 Man City - This is our year!
Norwich 2-3 Liverpool - We're gonna win the league!
Liverpool 0-2 Chelsea - Jose Mourinho is a disgrace to football
Palace 3-3 Liverpool - 5 times, only played for top 4 anyway, Chelsea parked the bus, still knocked United off their perch, 7th place, Suarez is loyal, Gerrard didn't fall over, this is Evertons fault, Jft96, 5 times, Haha Moyes, 3-0, 7th place, only wanted 4th, Chelsea parked the bus, rather lose and play well than win than play shit, 5 times, we knocked United off their perch, this isn't our fault.
Agreed rather City have a piteous 2 PL's than Liverpool end the near 3 decade wait.

Please change the title of the thread, its embarrasing reading that.
I dont want Liverpool to win under any circumstance but in no way shape or form do I want city winning it either. I find it shocking that united fans are cheering city on...even if its to see the scum lose it.

Man$ity or Loserfools wins PL, either is embarrassments. I can not stand hearing we talk about which of both should win that title. I would rather leave it to Chelsea, which is disaster of attacking football or Arsenal, a never-title-winner, than these two.

Our temporary absence from the top four allowed the Dippers to move in. We caused this problem and we have to resolve it. Their six points over us was a major cause of this.

It's not embarrassing if City win the league. In fact, with the squad they have, they shouldn't need to wait until the last day of the season (again). What's embarrassing is how far behind we are from them. Even more so with Liverpool.

What's embarrassing is how far behind we are from them. Even more so with Liverpool. Its not embarrasing them winning it, it is however embarrasing united fans cheering them on, is that what its come to? You dont need me to explain how much I hate Liverpool but would I cheer on City (a team we also despise) to win it just so the dippers wont? Like fuck I would. The only thing im concerned with is the scum NOT winning it, the rest I dont care about. I dont want City winning it either but I certainly wont cheer for them. It is embarrasing but the club have themselves to blame for the position were in. Fergie, The Yanks, Woodward, Moyes and more importantly the players...they are the reason we're so far behind.

No matter what they do, I find it hard to take Shitty seriously. Apart from being local rivals, they are like just another small time team. This bought success won't last..

Hate to think about this but it sounds like they're investing in the right areas, from the bottom up. Not just a QPR type throw of the cash. They're going to be around for a while, unless something disastrous or a miracle happens.

It's a bitter celebration I grant you that, but the alternative is nigh on unthinkable. I'd like to think there's no actual cheering going on though.

I will celebrate Liverpool's demise, not city's success. As long as it comes to fruition.

Hey, we've had a ton of fun the last 20 years. Back in the 80's when I was at school I thought I'd never see United win the league, while Liverpool were dominating. You have to take the rough with the smooth in this game. Shitty have bought their way to the top table, they will always have that stain. Without United rising to the top in the early 90's the Premier league would not be the global Goliath it is now. Abramovich, the Yanks, the Arabs would not have bought clubs if it wasn't for United raising awareness. Even Scudamore said United being shite was bad for the league. Just enjoy being a fan of Englands only superclub!

I have to say I did have a little smirk to myself when I saw the bitters' win last night...lesser of two evils I'm afraid...couldn't have the dippers winning it...especially with Stevie Me still there...
...all the media saying he 'deserves' to pick up the trophy...no fucking way...unless he 'robs it' (sic)...
