Gents, I am in Melbourne from to Wednesday to Friday next week. Although I'm tied up with work commitments, I have a couple of hours free Wednesday night and was thinking of jumping on a tram out to the Little Creatures Dining Room as I like the brewery's beers and have been told it's a neat place to while away a few hours.
As locals, do you have any advice - worth it, or not?

Hmm, never been actually so can't say whether it'd be worth it I'm afraid.
I've tried their beer though and it's a good drink, so probably would be a good night along there, wouldn't take long on a tram either from the CBD.

Anyone been on the edge in the sky tower thingy? A glass box that hangs outside a skyscraper. Count me in.

Anyone been on the edge in the sky tower thingy? A glass box that hangs outside a skyscraper. Count me in. The skytower, aye I've been up there. It's pretty cool, the box starts as opaque and then as it slides outside, the glass starts to flash between clear and opaque, as it does you hear the rather loud sound of glass cracking and breaking. Bit nervy I can tell ya! Great view from up there though, they tell you to lie on the floor but I have to be honest, my arse dropped at that, I was happy to just stand up. |
