Good afternoon all,
I'm Rob and I have been a supporter of this mighty club my entire life (or at least as long as I can remember). What really hooked me in and what has kept me hooked all these years (tribal allegiances aside) Is the attacking, fearless and slightly arrogant never-say-die brand of football that has become synonymous with Manchester United. Eric's goal against Sunderland in '96 link typifies this for me and I cannot help but grin every time I see his celebration.
This summer I have been busily reading through reams and reams of interweb pages on all things United as I do every off season, awaiting the next big signing that will keep my mind occupied until the pre-season tour and then the season proper kicking off in August. I thought I needed to join a forum to share with like minded persons as when I speak to my good lady about the nuances of 4-4-2 vs 4-3-3 vs 5-2-1-2 she just stares blankly at me before leaving the room.
Anyway, that's me, look forward to posting...
