Why would an argentine international need to travel to madrid to sort out a work permit to play in england? Anyone explain this to me?

Rojo: I am very happy to have the chance to play in such an important team in the world. It really means a lot to me. I want to enjoy this moment because it's a dream come true. Before agreeing to sign for Manchester I spoke a lot with Veron, he suggested a few things to me. A quote from ssn today. Find it quite funny that it was Veron who actually push his final descision in the right direction. Hopefully it was about "how to not do things here", since Veron didn't manage to settle down and find his peace here. Think it will be a lot easier for Rojo, he got 8/9 players around him who also speak spanish. I know why Ando hasn't left yet, he got a new role as english teacher in the team  |

So I got no worries about him, more concern about the officals. So is this actually done, is he available? I too wonder. An experience on Football Manager a couple of years back meant I couldn't actually register a player who didn't have a work permit at transfer window end meaning I had to wait till Jan to play him. Hopefully thats not how it works and that he is ours but just needs the permit to play. |
