As it says on the tin!
I think Di Maria and Falcao will be the headline grabbers and match-winners, but Daley Blind is the player who'll have the biggest impact on us this season.

Inclined to agree with you. Falcao has the poaching skills of Ollie and the range of shooting power of Sparky, which together is awesome. However, I think Blind is that quiet professional like Irwin with the skills of Butt. I think Blind will have the greater impact and consistency.

I know I kinda downplayed the Falcao transfer, but fuck me, he's some signing. Can't wait to see him leave Terry/Kompany et al on their arse.

I said Herrera but really I think it'll be Blind. I just enjoy seeing Herrera take care of himself. He's Spanish, it's so, unexpected.

Hard not to say Herrera and/or Blind because, well, they are legit CMs.
But I can't choose between them, so I'll choose Angel because of PACE and his surging runs from midfield.

While those 6 are good, my vote is for LVG.

Blind will have a Carrick like impact. Unspectacular but keeps us ticking with metronomic efficiency and some will appreciate his worth only when out of team.
My pick from player pool is Herrera. Once he clicks into gear, key passes and through balls galore for Falcao and co to bang goals for fun!!

Gone for the headline grabber ADM.
His injection of raw pace, his footballing brain that can pick the long passes to split defences and take midfielders out of the game.
And his powerful runs offering give and go's which gets the crowd on their feet because he's trying to take the game by the scruff of the neck and make something happen.
Not just a pace merchant or a one trick wonder.

While those 6 are good, my vote is for LVG. Totally agree. Moyes could've signed all those players (well, not really, but go with me here) and still finished 7th because he wouldn't know how to use them. LvG clearly bought them to suit his philosophy. That excites me more than any of the names, and judging by my reaction to Di Maria is saying something.

I've voted Di Maria just for the versatility of the player. You seen last week there was a ball he put over the top that landed to RVP. That took me back to the days we had Giggsy and Scholy popping the balls over the top. Shame the match was dreadful!

As much as we need a classy Central midfielder or two and I think Herrera especially and Blind will be important players this year we have just signed the best finisher in the world left foot, right foot and for a guy whos hardly a Dzeko type for tallness hes the best header of the ball ive seen for a long time. When I used to watch him for Porto when they won wafa cup he was awesome in the air.The guy has been playing in Madrid (Atletico) and Monaco ive been to both the Vincent Calderon (great atmosphere) and the Luis11 Stade (small capacity no atmosphere) and they have got no history feeling when your there. This man has arrived at big time and was born to play for us.I for one believe that if he had been fit then Columbia would have been playing Germany in final and it might have been a different result. If he can get back to anything like he was 2 year ago then he will have most influence on team just by his nature. Two goals in two games for Monaco tends to say he might be on his way back.Remember the last striker who had ACL who people said wouldnt be same player he didnt do too bad.

Falcao for me he is the best striker in the world and will make us a lot better going forward. Falcao for me. The reason being, 20-30 league goals will make quite the impact.
