Mata is a supremely talented player. It would be incredibly stupid to consider selling him in January.
There is such a thing as a player that is "Too good" for his teammates, kind of player that makes instinctive
moves and passes like a strike of lightening. There were many of Mata's passes that went begging because they were a bit heavy, or because someone did
not expect them to come at all. I think that will be very different this year once this group of players gets settled and in tune with each other.
TBH I see Mata scoring more goals than either RVP or PHC (Max tells me that is "Potato Headed Cunt", seems appropriate
) not to mention the
assists he will rack up with the players United will be attacking with.
He moves beautifully without the ball, and with half the defenders chasing Falcao around, Juan Two is going to find lots of open space, especially
with defenders trying to mark Falcao, and if he does, ADM or Ander will find him. Or else Mata will take that first touch and find one of the other
attackers flying through (That is why he is Juan-Two )
When I think of the players we have, not just starting XI but into the bench as well, top 4 doesn't seem like a good enough "dream" to me, I
look to top 4 and United pushing hard for top of PL table right up to the end of the season.
