Us Irish guys would have seen Hurling for years. But did any of the non irish guys see the All Ireland Hurling final yesterday on sky? What a game it is. Spectacular.

Fantastic game I'm irish myself but not from a hurling county but what a game. No paycheck for them lads and they give 150%. In fairness to the non irish people it is hard to understand the game but definitely worth a watch. Replay is on in 3 weeks lads give it a look.

think it's a novelty on sky really. dont get me wrong, its an amazing sport to watch and i have huge respect for the players, but i can't see non-irish people picking a team and following them.

We call it Shinty here in Scotland and a bloody rough game at that. But Ireland and Scotland play Internationals against each other, Hurling/Shinty. My wife played Hockey in her youth and she will sit down and watch a Shinty/Hurling match here on TV.
