I can surely agree with that. in fact oif Courtois not been in the net Sunday I suspect the score would have been different he made a couple top saves, as de DDG They make those kind of saves look routine

Yeah, it had the feel of the Cech/VDS days when they'd be pulling off those saves regularly and games were settled on refereeing blunders or strikers wandering a meter offside unnoticed.

Januzaj proud to wear Giggs' no.11 shirt Adnan Januzaj insists it was an honour to inherit the iconic no.11 shirt from Ryan Giggs, who he describes as his “godfather” at Manchester United. Giggs hung up his boots in May and almost immediately stated his wish for somebody else to accept his famous jersey. That person was Januzaj, who was proud to accept the honour when approached in the summer and did not require a moment’s consideration. "I was really happy to get the number of such a legend and it was a really big deal for me," Adnan told ManUtd.com. "I went to the office and they asked me if I wanted the shirt. I wasn’t going to say no! Straight away I said 'of course' and I didn’t have to think about it. It was a 'yes' straight away. "It feels different," the 19-year-old continued. "Things have changed because it is a big responsibility to wear the no.11 shirt and having the number of a legend is really big. Ryan has helped me a lot and is like a godfather. He has told me to work hard on the training pitch and the rest is more personal. We talk about football a lot." Although Januzaj only played with Giggs for a single season, the fledgling Belgian believes 12 months was ample time to tap into the Welshman’s knowledge and expertise. "I learned a lot from him and the experience was great. He was such a good player to watch and is my favourite player of all time at United. Could I imagine playing at 40? Of course, if I am still fit. You never lose your quality, that’s something I learned from him." www.manutd.com/en/News-And-Features/Football-News/2014/Oct/Adnan-Januzaj-proud-to-take-godfather-Ryan-Giggs-11-shirt.aspx?

No doubt an outstanding choice to wear the shirt, if he stays healthy the kid has the potential to become world class, and a legend at United.
It isn't just about quality of play or the skills, it is about the attitude, and that holds true for every one of the kids that has gotten called up to run with the First team. An outstanding mix of confidence and humility. Can't say enough good things about how the club runs the youth programs.

Man I am so fucking happy we have filled out at least 2-3 positions with the world's best players or with players with potential to be the world's best. De Gea, Di Maria and Shaw . Falcao hasn't yet shone but I'm sure he will step up. It feels so fucking good. We're fucking 8th and I feel optimistic. Moyes really did a number on us lot, the cunt.

Currently have shin splints myself. Only way to relieve it is rest, but the problem for Jones will be it reoccurring.

So, I just need to find 9 United fans with £375 to spare so that we can book a top table at the United UNICEF Gala Dinner...
Any takers?
(not really serious as I know it's a lot of money...)
(but I could be persuaded...)

Are there rules against keeping my arms around Mata and DDG all night pretending to be a trio of amigos? If not I'm in

I think we need to cut our losses with Jones, even if he turns out to be a superstar in 5 years time at another club, nobody could say we fucked up getting rid as we need players that can perform now, not hopefully once every 5 games before getting nobbled again
