5bn no? If they want 1bn for 20% that is. Nothing to stop them selling for less, say 3bn, though. I thought I heard 4 bill when the Saudis were first mentioned. Unfortunately it doesn’t seem to matter because these bastards seem to have no intention of selling. Oh yeah, I get what you are talking about now. Sorry I thought you were talking in relation to the article. Yeah, 3bill was the supposed offer and the gimps were supposedly holding out for 4bn.

Hannibal Mejbri looks pretty decent doesn’t he? He’s been banging them in. Plus this...

United have apparently been fined over having elderly mascots today.
More fantastic bureaucracy from the PL.

I like the sound of this... Let's hope it bears some fruit...if we don't offer places at United, maybe they might be able to make a living at a lower level...

I just read that Tony Kroos was about to join us when we sacked Moyes and that the incoming LVG wasn't sure whether he wanted him...so he went to Real Madrid...
fml...
From M.E.N.
Toni Kroos has revealed just how close he came to joining Manchester United before David Moyes' sacking six years ago.
Kroos' contract at Bayern Munich was due to expire in the summer of 2015 and Bayern decided to sell him in 2014 in order to avoid losing him on a free transfer.
United were heavily interested in signing Kroos but the Germany international ended up joining Real Madrid instead, where he has won three Champions League trophies.
However, it could all have been very different for Kroos had United not parted company with Moyes towards the end of the 2013-14 campaign.
Louis van Gaal was appointed as manager that summer and seemingly wasn't as keen on signing Kroos as his predecessor was.
“David Moyes had come to see me and the contract had basically been done but then Moyes was fired and Louis van Gaal came in, which complicated matters," Kroos told The Athletic.
"Louis wanted time to build his own project. I didn’t hear anything from United for a while and started having doubts. Then the World Cup started and [then Madrid manager] Carlo Ancelotti called. And that was it.”

Genuinely think Laird is a better prospect than Williams but he needs to stay healthy. Great news though!

Matic has signed a new one year deal.
He’s played really well since coming back into the side. It helps him not being run into the ground so we can pick and choose his games.

It makes sense for him to stay for one more year while we improve the other areas of the team. in theory anyway(but you never know with that fuckwit Woodard in charge)

Our midfield is really strong tight now and hopefully Garner can make the leap, particularly physically, over the coming months. This should allow us to go all out for Sancho and Grealish but I don’t think any of us are holding our breaths.

Has there been any chat yet about the 2020 summer tour? Just wondering where they might be heading. Presumably not Far East?
