Matic has signed a new one year deal. He’s played really well since coming back into the side. It helps him not being run into the ground so we can pick and choose his games. It makes sense for him to stay for one more year while we improve the other areas of the team. in theory anyway(but you never know with that fuckwit Woodard in charge) The fact I’m not as spitting mad about this as I probably should be speaks to his improvement of late but the devil will be in the details. As a horse for a limited amount of courses, this is fine. As a regular option and an excuse not to buy, this is peak Ed.

Has there been any chat yet about the 2020 summer tour? Just wondering where they might be heading. Presumably not Far East? Hopefully nowhere. I’d have thought stateside, but there’s even talk of the NBA playing behind closed doors.

Interesting. I’d try to get him a loan to a Premier League side next year, if we get Sancho. He has bags of skill, needs to get kicked around a bit.

This would be unexpected good news if true. Hopefully Gomes news to follow!

i have no clue where to put this question, so i dropped it here:
If The City are barred from the CL next season, and the current season is voided, we still dont make the CL do we?
seeing as we finished 6th last season the next team in line would be Arsenal in 5th.
would be very bitter sweet if so, we'll not make the CL but the Scouse wont win the league.
on the flip side, if the league isn't voided and is essentially finalised as is, the Scouse get the Title and we get the CL.
a real moral quandary, that one.

Not really. European Cup football isn't a trophy and especially not while we'll be in it as also-rans.

No quandary. No trophy for the Scouse and the Glazers don’t get their CL money. Everytime. Remember , they always spend when they have to. 2nd place finish confirms that.

The way this virus is going I don’t think the season will start again for a good while.
